Phil Barrett
General Manager
Born and raised in Massachusetts, my journey in the paper/corrugation business began in 2000 with Southern Container, where I started as a clamp truck driver and worked my way up to become a corrugator supervisor. Afterward, I joined PCA as a plant superintendent. In 2010, I joined the Schwarz Partners family of companies and Corrugated Partners Group to begin my ascent through the ranks. Starting as a superintendent, I steadily progressed to the role of General Manager in 2016. What I love most about being a GM for New England Sheets is the opportunity to uphold the culture that I was embraced with. Values such as treating people right, showing them their value, and fostering a sense of family within the business is required to have success. It is crucial for me to reward team members for their hard work and accomplishments, and preserving this culture was one of my primary motivations continued success. In my free time, I relish the moments spent with my children, watching their sports activities, and occasionally indulging in a game of golf.

Jason Champagne
Shipping Manager
I grew up in Townsend, Massachusetts, spending the majority of my life there except for a brief period in a neighboring town. My entry into the corrugated industry was influenced by my father, who dedicated his career to it. Through him, I discovered New England Sheets (NES). While my initial experience was operating a box stitcher at a small corrugated company, joining NES in 2010 marked a turning point. Starting as a forklift operator, I gradually progressed to become a Manager, appreciating the mentorship and small company feel along the way. Outside of work, I cherish time with my wife Brenda and our two children, enjoying watching my daughter’s softball games and indulging in hobbies like collecting comics and old action figures. With a commitment to staying positive, being a team player, and giving my best every day, I find fulfillment in my role and take pride in being part of the NES family.
